A WOW and a half for this collection.

This beauty is already sold out! Would've definitely wanted this as my wedding dress (...if I got married again this year, that is!)

....and this one if I was a wedding guest, didn't like the bride and REALLY wanted to steal the show. :)

I am also really liking these pieces from the 'staple' Conscious collection

Perfect blazer!

Seriously holding myself back from the usual 'ordering and sending to mum's'- business at the moment...

It works in my budget's favour (or does it?) that most of the pieces are only available in selected stores and not online...

Only thing that annoys me with this collection: It's got the 'Conscious' label on it, something H&M has promoted collections with but doesn't really explain what we're actually dealing with much. I tried to find out the differences between these garments and the usual collections. Are the ressources sourced from organic plantations? Are the fabrics dyed using environmentally friendly substances? Are fair wages paid to the employees in Bangladesh? 'Sustainability of fashion' (the punchline they use generously on the website) is one of those really general quasi-description used in advertising seemingly enviro-friendly concepts. So H&M, stop covering your ass and let us know if there's more to 'Conscious' than just a clever name and a comforting shopping experience.
I'm holding out for some facts or at least a cleverly written mission statement. Until then I'm not really sold on the whole concept, as they still manage to sell most of the collection's shirts for a mere € 9.99, not to mention dresses for € 14.95.
What do you think? Sounds a bit fishy, non?
